thanks for the pointer !

just noting down here what I think is the main requirement behind this:

  • ability to maintain over time a common set of team-wide pre-commit policies

right now we are already drifting a bit, with some checks present in the work environments of some of us, but not others (because they are setup at mr creation time, but not updated afterwords)
