I have also stumbled across a similar case today.
When trying to browse an origin, the web app will grab the latest successfull snapshot.
In our case, the recent snapshot is null (see https://archive.softwareheritage.org/api/1/origin/160262/visits/)
so the previous one was grabbed (https://archive.softwareheritage.org/api/1/snapshot/2f90787f6afaf3f3984c5dce158c7c24c421e52f/).
Unfortunately, all the branches of this snapshot point to revisions not present in the archive, and so this error appears.
This seems similar to what was observed in T1304.
