A researcher may wish to deposit in a scholarly repository, or open access archive, a project that is available in one of the code hosting platforms tracked by SWH.
The repository, in this case, should send a SWORD command containing only the metadata and the url of the project on the code hosting platform.
SWH should then
- call the "save origin now" function on the project on the code hosting platform
- store the metadata information and return the corresponding SWH-ID to the requesting repository
