Which triggers all kinds of bad behavior, example out of [1]

Well, the problem seems to have subsided.
I just triggered back the multiple broken builds and they are green again.

I spoke too soon.

All jobs using swh-sphinx [1] (as i said in the description T.T) are not happy.

I got side-tracked by other failing builds (that's the part which is fine now).

Upstream issue: https://github.com/docker-java/docker-java/issues/1509
Workaround: downgrade junit and jackson2-api plugins.

We'll need to wait to further upgrade plugins until jackson2-api gets fixed.
