I'd like to use footnotes in wiki pages on wiki.s.o. Concrete use cases is rendering the footnotes that appear in the just submitted CLA page. Mediawiki does support footnotes via the cite extension, which also seems compatible with the Mediawiki version we're running.

Can we haz the cite extension on wiki.s.o?

(I'm gonna leave the <ref> in the markup of the CLA page, so that it can be used as a test for successful extension installation.)
